It's Official: I'm a Full-Time Photographer

Big news — I've officially gone full time with Miss Jenny's Photography.

What started as something I did alongside everything else has now become my whole focus. No more splitting my energy between a day job and the thing I actually love doing. This is it. This is the job.

What I Do

I specialise in two things:

Personal branding photography — for artists, creators, entrepreneurs, and business owners who need images that actually look like them. Whether you're just starting out or scaling up, you need photos that build trust and show people who's behind the business.

Passion photography — for the people who don't need a business angle at all. Maybe it's your car, your bike, your horse, or whatever it is that lights you up. If you're proud of it, I want to photograph it.

I'm based in Richmond, North Yorkshire, and work with clients across the UK.

The Behind-the-Scenes Bit

Going full time meant getting everything client-ready — which included updating my website (new galleries, smoother booking, the works) and doing something I'd been putting off for a long time: a brand photoshoot of myself.

Honestly? It was harder than I expected. Being on the other side of the camera, directing yourself, second-guessing every pose — it's awkward. There were points where I genuinely thought, "this would be so much easier if someone else was doing this for me."

And that's exactly the point.

It gave me a fresh reminder of what I'm asking my clients to do every time they book a session with me — step in front of a camera and trust that someone else can capture them well. Now I understand that a little more from the inside, and I think it'll make me better at my job because of it.

What's Next

With the website updated and my own photos finally sorted, I'm properly open for business — new clients, new bookings, new projects. If you've been thinking about getting personal branding photos done, or you've got something you're passionate about that deserves to be photographed properly, get in touch.
